How long have you been interested in magic?

I have been doing magic for 10 years. The first trick that I ever saw was in elementary school where my best friend showed me the 21 card trick. I was very fooled and my curiosity started to open up from that point. From there I went to borrow every books I could get my hands on at my local public library and went to the magic shop every week.



Take us through your show – what can we expect?

For corporate events, Tai offers an interactive experience magic using everyday object and just inches away from everyone watching. The beauty to seeing magic up close is just that, the CLOSE part. This is where you can see the magic from every angle, and you can touch and feel all the objects that are involved. Its not some box that you have never seen before and its not only from one angle. With close up magic you can touch and feel the card that is about to go into your hands and see the everything that the magician see and yet in just a couple of seconds that card would change in your hands, not the magician's hand. To feel magic up close and personal is a very memorable experience. Tai also offers customized magic to fit with company branding or message at corporate gatherings. The use of custom magic can create extraordinary souvenirs for event attendees, serving as lasting reminders of the brand and the experience. These souvenirs not only evoke the magic of the event but also act as tangible, shareable tokens that keep the brand in the forefront of guests' minds, extending the event's impact long after it has concluded.

For private events, Tai offers a close-up magic show for everyone to experience magic together. There is something about shared human experience that cannot be replicated by any other means. Close up magic is great to experience together because it's so interactive and contains a wide range of emotions. Magic hits each person differently, some people scream, some people laugh and sometime a couple of people cry. It is surprising, it is funny and it is dramatic by nature. You are picking the card, the coins are disappearing from your hands and the phone that is being unlocked is not a stranger on stage but its your best friend. You participate in the magic and you are part of the show. The beauty of watching magic as a group is you get to experience magic and get to experience your friends and family experience magic. Magic is like that roller coaster ride at the amusement park, you can go on it and have fun yourself but its so much better with friends.

What do you love most about your job?

There are two things that I love about my job. The first is I love the audience reaction, to see how different people react to magic is beautiful. I love the look of joy, surprise and excitement on their face. Its the same feeling I get when I first experience magic. My goal is to share that feeling with as many people as possible.

The second reason is because I love creating a special moment for someone on their special day, be it birthday, bachelor party or wedding. I love coming up with custom magic effects like when a corporate company wants to say a particular message or a grandma that want to produce a toy for her grandson magically. It fills me with joy to come up and work on new magic tricks to make someone special day a little bit more special.



What inspired you to start your own business?

Magic is very important to me and the idea of being able to make money as a magician is too incredible to say no too. I love magic and being able to share with people on their special day brings me a lot of joy. Every time I meet someone new and perform magic, I get a rush of excitement and adrenaline that runs through me. This drive and the joy of sharing magic is what ultimately inspired me to start my own business.

First and foremost, I hope that clients choose magic. Magic is beautiful and its a wonderful thing to experience in person close up. Clients should choose me because of my unique blend of magic consisting of fire, mind reading and impossible objects that will result in a experience magic that is intimate, surprising and interactive.
